PTFE membrane filter discs are available in 0.22µm, 0.45µm, and 1.2µm pore sizes, and offered in 13mm, 25mm, 47mm, 90 mm and 142mm diameters. Die Cut Membranes are supplied non-sterile. Membrane disc filters comply with USP Class VI Standards, ensuring safety and material compatibility.
PTFE Membrane Disc Filters are made of pure PTFE membrane bonded to a polypropylene support, ensuring broad chemical compatibility (pH 1–14) for filtration of solvents, acids, and aggressive chemicals. Due to their hydrophobic nature, pre-wetting with solvents such as ethanol or methanol is required before filtering aqueous solutions. Hydrophobic PTFE disc filters are ideal for HPLC, organic solvents, air & gas filtration, aerosol sampling.
