Heating & Cooling Blocks

Cooling blocks and heat blocks are essential in the lab for precision temperature control. Cooling plates can provide convenience and ease in sampling preparation techniques whilst cold blocks eliminate the need for an external thermometer or timer as they provide you with digital control over temperature and time. Heat blocks provide consistent and even heating for tubes, vials and other small containers and samples. At Thomas Scientific, we have plenty of heating blocks, aluminum cooling blocks and heat plates suitable for sample preparation, enzyme preservation, enzyme-substrate reactions, restriction enzyme digestions, and many other applications in the laboratory.
