Lab Evaporators & Concentrators

How does a liquid nitrogen evaporator work?

A liquid nitrogen evaporator converts liquid nitrogen into gaseous nitrogen through controlled heating or pressure reduction. The system typically consists of a liquid nitrogen reservoir and an evaporation chamber. When liquid nitrogen enters the chamber, it absorbs heat from its surroundings or a heating element, causing it to vaporize. The resulting gaseous nitrogen travels through tubing or valves for cooling, inerting, or pressurization applications.
