- For measurement of kinematic viscosity of transparent and opaque Newtonian liquids

Also used to measure kinematic viscosity of cut-back asphalts and road oils at 140°F (60°C) and asphalt cements at 275°F (135°C) in range of 30 to 6,000 centistokes according to ASTM Standard D 2170 (see Table 3). Can be filled and cleaned while in constant temperature bath. Minimum sample volume: 1 to 3 mL . Requires liquid bath depth of 230 mm (9"). Individually boxed. Serial number is printed on the outside of the box and on the viscometer. Certificate of calibration and instruction sheet provided. Holders not included; see Thomas numbers 9726M95 and M98.
