The Petri?lm Yeast and Mold Count Plate provides results between 3 to 5 days. Yeasts are easily differentiated from molds on the plate:
- Yeasts are typically indicated by small, blue green colonies with defined edges and no foci.
- Molds are indicated by large, variably colored colonies with diffuse edges and center foci.
