No clamps or locking devices to manipulate. Less expensive than stainless steel, glass or magnetic funnels, yet compare favorably with their performance. A unique, gravity-sealing design prevents filter bypass or sample leakage when using depth filters. Graduations up to 350 mL in 50 mL intervals. The No. 8 stopper mounts in a standard 1 liter filtering flask or in multi-position manifolds. The polysulfone unit has a dustcover, is autoclavable and chemically resistant for cell culture and microbiological applications. The polypropylene unit has a wider solvent resistance.
