The higher salt concentration (NaCl) in Bertani facilitates better transport and osmotic balance. Based on this information, researcher’s can select the optimal salt concentration for a specific strain in LB Agar, Miller. LB Broth is suitable for propagation of E. Coli and other bacteriological stocks.
Recommendation
This is the best option for LB Broth is a higher concentration of sodium chloride is desired; as LB Broth, Luria-Bertani Broth has 10.0 g/L NaCl and LB Broth, Lennox contains 5.00 g/L NaCl.
