Polyclonal rabbit anti-V5 tag (GKPIPNPLLGLDST) is designed to detect V5 tagged fusion proteins. The V5 epitope tag is derived from a small epitope (Pk) present on the P and V proteins of the paramyxovirus of simian virus 5 (SV5). The antibody recognizes the epitope tag fused to either the amino- or carboxy- termini of targeted proteins. These products are prepared by labeling high quality polyclonal rabbit anti-V5 antibody with CF® dyes.
