KDM5B is an enzyme that demethylates lysine 4 in histone H3 and subsequently inhibits mRNA synthesis. This enzyme regulates developmental cellular processes such as mitosis and cell differentiation. Increased expression of KDM5B has been associated with cancer . Anti-KDM5B antibody is specific for KDM5B in humans.
Synonyms: Anti-CT31; Anti-JARID1B; Anti-PLU-1; Anti-PPP1R98; Anti-RBBP2H1A

Application: Anti-KDM5B antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project (www.proteinatlas.org). Each antibody is tested by immunohistochemistry against hundreds of normal and disease tissues. These images can be viewed on the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) site by clicking on the Image Gallery link. The antibodies are also tested using protein array and western blotting. To view these protocols and other useful information about Prestige Antibodies and the HPA, visit sigma.com/prestige. Anti-KDM5B antibody is suitable for use in indirect immunofluorescence.
